We are proud to announce that the GE Healthcare Finnamore Emerging Leaders Competition 2014 has been won by Barbara, the founder of the Butterfly scheme, in collaboration with our business development manager.
Mednet are very proud to have worked closely on various projects with the Butterfly Scheme, who provide a system of hospital care for people living with dementia and to anyone needing memory support.
The Emerging Leaders competition invited individuals and groups to write a 3,000-word essay focusing on delivery of change beyond traditional NHS settings. The shortlisted candidates were invited to present their thoughts to the judging panel on 27th January 2015. This comprised of Sir Bruce Keogh, National Medical Director; Clare Pelham, Chief Executive, Leonard Cheshire Disability; Alastair McLellan, Editor, HSJ; and Bruce Finnamore, Special Advisor GE Healthcare Finnamore.
The winners stated it was a great experience to showcase their ideas to the most gracious interviewers and to meet the very bright finalists who were presenting on a wide range of topics.
