She is passionate about improving patient outcomes in the field of long-term conditions and plays a key role in various national steering groups focusing on issues of medicines optimisation and adherence. She is also a Board member for a Charity looking at community work and service delivery.
Ian Smyth


During his time as Deputy Director for the Office for Life Sciences and the DH, Ian led on developing UK recommendations in Dementia for the UK Prime Minister. As Commercial Director for JHI, Ian led a global entrepreneurial team within Johnson & Johnson, developing cutting edge solutions to modernise healthcare delivery and improve patient care. He brings with him to Mednet great knowledge and experience of innovating in healthcare.
Natalie Peaker


Operations Manager

Natalie’s portfolio of work includes devising strategies for medical education programmes, supporting product launches and providing strategic marketing and communications advice to the clients in the field of long term conditions. She has immense experience in managing large-scale healthcare projects.


Business Development Manager
He also leads the design and development of technical solutions; previously, Kirti worked in various roles in CMMI Level 5/ ISO 27001 accredited organisations, gaining experience of managing complex IT projects, covering all aspects of project delivery and life cycle across several industry verticals.


Creative Director

Over the past 10 years Martyn has specialised in the healthcare sector; for the international melanoma genetics consortium – GenoMEL – coordinated by the University of Leeds, he managed the design and programming team, creating a digital learning resource for both patients and clinicians. More recently, he worked with a team developing a software programme for GPs to assist with the process of appraisal and revalidation, which won the 2013 General Practice Award ‘Educational Provider of the Year’.


Senior Account Manager

Ayse has worked closely with organisations in the public, private and third sectors and has particular expertise in clinical trial management, implementing medical education programmes, supporting product launches, and analysing market intelligence. Ayse has an in-depth knowledge of a range of therapy areas, including mental health, neuroscience and oncology.


Senior Account Manager

Hannah has developed close working relationships with clients and key opinion leaders in multiple therapy areas including mental health, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases and immunology. She has additional specialisms in PR, marketing and social media, with a further interest in developing healthcare markets.


Senior Designer

His passion comes from deconstructing complex design briefs and offering inspiring, eye-catching solutions across a variety of media formats. He has built up experience in a range of different digital and print outputs such as branding, print, web design and development. He is always on the look out for new technologies that can be used to enhance a project and take it beyond expectations.


Senior Account Executive

Rosie has a keen personal interest in human health, and decided to pursue a career within the health and pharmaceutical sector after completing her master’s degree in Health Science. Since beginning her career, Rosie has worked on a multitude of projects with national and international clients from the pharmaceutical life sciences sector, agency side, the third sector and NHS.


Account Coordinator

Enya has recently completed a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology (BSc, Hons) and brings a range of skills in research and scientific writing. She currently supports the management of projects for clients in the pharmaceutical life science sector and NHS.

Ghazi Saghir


Graphic Designer

Through completing his Masters in Advertising and Design, Ghazi has developed skills that produce designs that capture the essence of marketing identities and visual communication. His passion for coming up with innovative ideas and staying abreast of latest technologies has lead to successful projects in Graphic Design, Web Development, Healthcare Education and Training, e-learning and mobile apps.

Sarah Whitfield


Medical Writer
Sarah has a degree in Biology (BSc, hons) and a PhD in lipid biochemistry. She benefits from an in-depth understanding of the drug development process gained during 10 years in research within the pharmaceutical industry. Sarah has particular interests in health outcomes research and pharmacoeconomics.


Business Development Manager

Jon is responsible for speaking to new and existing clients about the scope of our work and identifying how Mednet’s experience in creating innovative programmes can best address client needs and deliver effective patient outcomes.

Jon has helped many firms to grow their client-base, revenue and value – and over the past decade his work has resulted in contracts/sales worth millions – and subsequent business acquisitions (for my clients) worth £14m+.

Jon’s been involved in Business to Business (B2B) Business Development, Telemarketing and Sales for 15+ years; helping people develop their proposition, processes and strategies – and he’s started meaningful discussions and relationships for his clients with senior decision makers in global companies across Europe and the US.


HR Director
With an MSc in International Human Resource Management and Business Relations and 10 years experience in HR & Recruitment, he has both experience of working in large blue chip nationals and SME’s alike. In his spare time he sits on the board of a charity.
